Into the Ice: A Junior Hockey Documentary – I Just Entered to Win the DVD and a Gongshow Hat!

Blog, Contests — By on October 27, 2011 7:18 AM

Gongers, our friends at Cross Check Films have released a behind the scenes look at the life of a Junior Hockey Player -the first time anyone has ever attempted this – shot and edited by Chris Rumble (son of the former NHL’er Darren Rumble), who is a player on the team (was injured for part of the season so he picked up the camera) – can’t get any better then that for all access behind the scenes with the fellas!

Dive into the ice with the players for this emotional ride through a gruelling hockey season – features the North American Hockey League’s Wenatchee Wild over the course of a entire season.  Lots of great raw emotion, authentic footage, and laughs with the boys as they bond together through the year.

We got advance copies of this beauty, and we watched it here at the GSH Headquarters last week- we gotta tell you, it really hits home if your a hockey player – especially if you have played junior hockey.  We partnered with Into the Ice for this movie as the official apparel – and because of that, we have some free copies to give away!

We had a guy on my beer league team bring post-game chili after this week’s game.

Does it get much better than beer & chili for post-game recovery?

There is nothing better than to hang out with the boys from your team because they are the ones who you are going to have the best time with. You share a common interest in hockey, the lifestyle, and wheeling chicks. Where else are you going to fin that type of bonding?

  25. rgayso says:

Roadies with the team are unreal, and my rookie party too. It truly is a lifestyle.

  30. ozzie1912 says:

I absolutely can not wait to see this video. It looks like a real look in to the bond that the boys share in hockey. There is nothing like your teammates. You spend a ton of time with your brothers on and off the ice and create so many memories. Going to war every game and remembering that your teammates are there for you no matter what is what I will always remember. Sitting around after a game, having a couple brews and sharing stories is what it’s all about.

  31. jackal says:

Looks absolutely unreal. Its always a beaut hanging with your mates off the ice. You become a family. Whether it be on or off the ice, you have to look out for your bud. Some randoms house party? you roll together.

  32. Black says:

seems pretty cool. i’ll leave some parting advice in that while your young you gotta take advantage of the opportunities of being with the boys and being on a team. Not the same when your playing in the beer leagues and your skating like its a casual sunday.

can you buy this in the store??
